chronic pain
There is a Stigma attached for those with chronic pain. i have chronic pain. And that is ok. Lower back pain and hip pain, knee pain, foot pain wrist pain shoulder pain and headaches. Angilosing Spinalitis, disc compression, arthritis tendonitus, carpl tunnel, cartledge removed, staff infection, concisions from sports,
I have learned in this lifetime you will have pain. it is beyond your control these injuries and illnesses that have me in pain for the rest of my life. i get naked with my vulnerabilities and me having to live with pain is a challage. I believe while you are deep in pain level 10 the challage is focus on treatment and acceptance of the new reality, The thing with pain is that it hurts. Once we accept the pain for what it is we allow ourseleves the freedom to choose our response. How we respond is the blessing in the challenge. i believe challenges are indeed the blessing itself.
Without the tragic death of his parents there would be no Batman.
iId like to discuss “managing’ pain. I worked for pfizer and sold Celebrex and Lyrica - NSAID - and Gabapentin for nerve pain, i know how to manage pain with Pharmaceuticals .But at my age pain meds start to have serious adverse affect on your body.
change our relationship to pain.- no longer adversarial but of mutual respect and adoration. How we react to pain is the determines whether we suffer or grow.
